BO'NESS STUDENT SIXTH IN NORTH CAROLINA
Brevard College, North Carolina team-mates Myles Johnston from Bo'ness and Craig Galloway from West Lothian finished joint sixth and 31st respectively in the Independent Collegiate Invitational golf tournament at Etowah Valley Country Club, North Carolina.
Johnston scored 74 and 78 for 152 - five shots behind the winner, Scott Woodard (Mount Olive College) (74-73).
Galloway shot 88 and 82 for 170.
A third Brevard College student, Grant Carnie from Ellon, Aberdeenshire, finished tied 14th on 159 with 79 and 80.
Brevard College (617) finished third in the team event behind Mount Olive College (606) and Carson-Newman College (607) in a field of seven.
