Fraserburgh teenager Jordan Findlay is lying joint 37th in a field of 77 for the United States Collegiate Championship over the Golf Club of Georgia’s Lakeside course at Alpharetta.
Findlay has had rounds of 77 and 76 for a tally of 153 with one round to go.
Jordan, a second-year student at East Tennessee State University, had no birdies in his second round in which he bogeyed the first, third, seventh and 12th in halves of 39 and 37.
Team-mate Rhys Davies, pictured above, moved up to a share of 12th place with a second-round 73 for 149, birdieing the first, fourth, eighth and 18th in halves of 35 and 38.
Tanner Ervin (Clemson) and Webb Simpson (Wake Forest) lead on level par 144.

Team-mate Sinead O’Sullivan, an Irish international, is back in joint 27th place with 80 and 82 for 163. She had a triple bogey 7 at the eighth and a double bogey 6 at the 10th in her second round halves of 42 and 40.
