US COLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Fraserburgh teenager Jordan Findlay is lying joint 37th in a field of 77 for the United States Collegiate Championship over the Golf Club of Georgia’s Lakeside course at Alpharetta.
Findlay has had rounds of 77 and 76 for a tally of 153 with one round to go.
Jordan, a second-year student at East Tennessee State University, had no birdies in his second round in which he bogeyed the first, third, seventh and 12th in halves of 39 and 37.
Team-mate Rhys Davies, pictured above, moved up to a share of 12th place with a second-round 73 for 149, birdieing the first, fourth, eighth and 18th in halves of 35 and 38.
Tanner Ervin (Clemson) and Webb Simpson (Wake Forest) lead on level par 144.

DANIEL WILLETT FOURTH IN INDIAN CLASSIC

Daniel Willett (Jacksonville State University) from Sheffield finished fourth of 91 in the Arkansas State University Indian Classic over the Sage Meadows Golf Club course at Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Daniel had rounds of 69, 73 and 69 for a five-under-par total of 211. He birdied the first, third, fourth and 12th in his final round to finish five shots behind the winner, Erik Barnes (Austin Peay State).
Southern Florida (852) won the team event by two shots from New Orleans.

VICKI FINISHES FIFTH IN COWGIRL CLASSIC

Irish junior cap Vicki Power (Northern Arizona) finished fifth of 49 in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ocotillo Golf Resort, Chandler in Arizona.
Vicki scored 74, 77 and 80 for a total of 231. Her team-mates, Ali Carter (221) and Sophia Choi (226) finished first and second.
Northern Arizona (908) won the team title by 35 strokes from British Columbia University.

Former Welsh girls champion Lucy Gould is lying in joint seventh place with one round to go in the Atlantic Sun Women’s Conference championship over the Keith Hills No 1 course at Buies Creek, North Carolina.
Lucy, a student at East Tennessee State University, has scored 77 and 76 for 153. She had one birdie, at the 18th, in halves of 39 and 37.
Team-mate Sinead O’Sullivan, an Irish international, is back in joint 27th place with 80 and 82 for 163. She had a triple bogey 7 at the eighth and a double bogey 6 at the 10th in her second round halves of 42 and 40.
