A total of 58 ladies played over Haggs Castle GC in the 2018 County Championship Qualifier under difficult conditions with the 2017 Champion Eilidh Briggs sweeping the board with a 2 under par 71 (birdies at the sixth, eighth, 12th, and 15th; bogeys at 13th and 17th.

She also has retained the Peggy Clark Trophy by having the best  net score of 74, despite ADDING three strokes to her gross round
