Airdrie win James Brown Team Trophy and go to Scottish 

Final at Stranraer on September 18

Airdrie won the James Brown Team Trophy over their own course yesterday with an aggregate score of 213 which was six over par. The winning team comprised Dominic Dougan 69, Gordon Taylor 71 and Robbie Main 73. 

They now qualify as Lanarkshire's representatives at the Scottish Final at Stranraer Golf Club on September 18.     

East Kilbride were runners-up with 214. Their team was Mitchell Ronald  70, Kenny Gallacher 73, and Ross Hinshelwood 71.    

Best scratch score of the day was a 68 from Kevin Loughrie of Cambuslang Best nett score was a 68 from Graham Dalzell of Airdrie.  The  CSS was 69

Easter Moffat Golf Club beat Biggar Golf Club 4-1 in the final of the Lanarkshire Knock-Out Cup yesterday at Colville Park Golf  Club.
