TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP IN POLAND MATCH-PLAY

SENIOR SCOTS BEAT GERMANY, PLAY 

SWEDEN IN SEMI-FINALS

Scotland are through to play top seeds Sweden in the semi-finals of the European senior men's amateur team golf championship at Sierra Golf Club, Poland.

They beat Germany 3-2, thanks to wins by the foursomes pairing of Bob Stewart and Barry Brooks and singles successes by Ian Brotherston and John Fraser.

Sweden reached the last four with a 3-2 win over France.

The other semi-final will feature Ireland, 4-1 conquerors of Italy, and England, who beat Switzerland 5-0.
