WHITE SURVIVES, STEWART MISSES

James White made the cut with nothing to spare but Michael Stewart missed it by two shots in the Alps Tour event in Italy, the Open La Pinetina Memorial at Pinetina Golf Club.

White had rounds of 71 and 69 for a level par tally of 140 and a share of 40th place.

Stewart shot 72-70 for 142.

Spain's Borja Virto leads by one with scores of 65-64 for 11-under 129.
