Scott MacPherson (Bothwell Castle) won the Lanarkshire boys' match-play championship today at Colville Park. Scott came from three down early in the final to go two up with three to play after driving the par four 15th hole for an easy birdie.
His opponent, reigning West of Scotland boys champion, Allan Woodhouse (East Kilbride) fought back to take the game down the last hole. However Scott became champion when Allan narrowly missed his birdie putt at the last.
