Darren Howie slips to fifth but still in contention at Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters

Joint first-round leader Darren Howie (Peebles) slipped back to fifth place with a 73 for three-under 141 after the second round of the boys' section in the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters at Nizels Golf Club, Kent.
Howie is still in contention, only three shots behind the joint leaders Arron Edwards-Hill (Chelmsford) (71-67) and Benjamin Jones (Northamptonshire) (69-69) on 138.
Next best Scots after 36 holes are boys' champion Eric McIntosh (Bruntsfield Links) (71-74 for 145) in joint 21st place and a pair sharing 26th place on 146 - Marc Watt (Inverallochy) (73-73) and Alyx Murray (Troon Welbeck) (70-76).
