Home win by Kirkintilloch player at Dunbartonshire Spring Meeting

 

               Greg Halkett receives the trophy from DGU president Alan Bell


Local player Greg Halkett of Kirkintilloch Golf Club won the Dunbartonshire Golf Union's Spring Meeting scratch competition over his home course with a two-over-par score of 72.

Windyhill member Kevin Smyth won the handicap section with a net 72 off a handicap of one.

A strong wind resulted in high scoring with only two scores within the buffer zones. The CSS was 72 (reduction only)
