European Tour release match schedule for this weekend's inaugural GolfSixes The European Tour’s innovative new GolfSixes tournament is one step closer after the release of the match schedule for the inaugural event at Centurion Club in St Albans on Saturday and Sunday. The 16 competing nations were allocated into four groups in last night’s live draw on Sky Sports News HQ. During Saturday’s group stage, each two-man team will complete three matches over the six-hole course. GolfSixes follows an exciting team-focused match play format. The Teams will play Greensomes, where the two players select their best tee shot and then play alternate shot thereafter. The top two teams from each of the four groups progress to the knockout stage – the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, a 3rd/4th place play-off match and the final – all of which will be contested on Sunday May 7.
