Perthshire's Michael Brodie makes top 20 in Peach Belt Conference Championship

Michael Brodie from Perthshire, a sophomore student at Leander University, South Carolina, tied for 20th place and helped his college to finish runners-up to South Carolina-Aiken in the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Championship over the Slammer and Squire championship course at St Augustine, Florida.

Brodie had rounds of 75, 73 and 75 for a total of 223 over the par-72 course (6939yd).
The Scot, pictured,  finished l1 strokes behind the individual winner, Matt Elliott (North Georgia) who scored 71, 73 and 66 for four-under 212. There were 85 players in the individual field and 11 squads in the team event.
Another Leander University student from Britain, Englishman James Bartlett, a third-year man from Brockenhurst, finished T40 on 229 with rounds of 71,79 and 79.

881 Young Harris College.
