Buckpool Golf Club appoints Robbie
Stewart as its first ever club pro

Buckpool Golf Club, Buckie is delighted to announce the appointment of PGA Fellow Professional Robbie Stewart as its first ever Club Professional.
Robbie, pictured, joins Buckpool from Newmachar Golf Club and brings a wealth of golf industry experience, having previously been Operations Director at Newmachar Golf Club, Director of Golf at The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre and Head Professional at Cruden Bay Golf Club for more than 20 years.
Buckpool Golf Club was founded in 1933 and the
course was designed by 5-time Open Champion J H
Taylor, one of the ‘Great Triumvirate’ which included
James Braid and Harry Vardon. The Club members
bought the course from the Council in 1999 and the
Club has since gone from strength to strength,
gaining a reputation for offering fantastic value and
consistently having some of the best greens in the
North East. The appointment of its first PGA Club
Professional is another important step in the growth
of Buckpool Golf Club.

Moray and to a Club he knows well.
"I have played at Buckpool many times over the
years and have always enjoyed the course and been
made very welcome by everyone at the club.
"When the opportunity arose to join Buckpool, I
had no hesitation in accepting and I look
forward to helping the Club continue to grow
and to providing opportunities for golfers of all
standards to fully enjoy the game."

to his duties at Buckpool Robbie will also
be working for Scottish Golf Ltd as a Clubgolf Coach
