Jo'burg Open course waterlogged - play suspended until Friday

morning

The European Tour's Jo'bug Open has had a start-stop first day.
Round 1 play was suspended overnight at 14:35 local time due to a waterlogged course.
There will be no further player today (Thursday). The first round will resume at 06.45 local time on Friday.

American Paul Peterson fired a 9-under 62 on the West Course  to take a two-shot lead before play was suspended because of heavy rains. Peterson, who won his first European Tour title last season at the D+D Real Czech Masters, made nine birdies and no bogeys.
