Gerry Smith has informed Scottishgolfview.com:
"I have been told by Craig's father that Craig was up all night before the match; never got a sleep, sick all day. (Scottish Golf coach) Ian Rae asked him to try but Craig was sick at the course. He's gutted as he just hit form: 23 under par with no bogeys over his last four rounds."
