SCOTS FIVE OFF THE PACE IN 

SPANISH BETTER-BALL

Aberdeen businessman Nick Robson and Gary Ross are tied 13th with Carnoustie's Fraser Mann and Darren Boyce on the two-under-par 70 mark after the first round of the Senior Golf Circuit's 36-hole better-ball competition at Desert Springs Golf Club in south-east Spain today (Monday).
Darren Peace and Stephen McNally lead by one shot with a 65.
The Senior Golf Circuit is a separate organisation from the European Senior Tour and has a lower minimum age of 48.
