PGAs of Europe professional championship

Graeme Brown leads the Scots in Bulgaria

Montrose Links assistant professional Graeme Brown had a bogey-free, four-birdie round of 68 for a 36-hole tally of five-under 139 to take up a share of seventh place at the halfway stage of the PGAs of Europe professional championship at Pravets Golf Resort, Bulgaria today.
The four other Scots in the field of 52 did not fare so well.
Craig Ronald (Carluke had a triple bogey 7 at the 14th in returning a 75 for 148 and joint 36th place.
Scott Henderson (Kings Links)  followed an eagle 3 at the 13th with a double bogey 6 at the 16th and a quadruple bogey 8 at the 18th as he signed for a 77 and joint 42nd place on 149.
Craig Matheson (Falkirk Tryst) had no birdies in a 76 for 150 and 44th position.
Norman Huguet (Musselburgh) had an 8 atthe 18th in a 78 for 155 and 47th place.
Dutchman Ralph Miller leads with 68 and 67 for nine under 135.
