Dumbartonshire Golf Union – County Finals

 

The finals of the County Championships were held at Windyhill Golf Club on Sunday 9^th October 2016.

 

The premier championship, the County Champion of Champions, was won by Gary Mack of Dougalston Golf Club who defeated David Wylie of Lenzie in a closely fought final.

 

The Junior Champion of Champions final was won by Euan McBride of Lenzie beating Ian MacLeod of Balmore.

 

The Match Play Championship winner was Neil McConnachie of Balmore, runner up was David Lindsay of Lenzie.

 

The team competitions were won by Clober Golf Club who defeated Windyhill with the Junior trophy going to Lenzie who defeated Clober in their final.

 

The Handicap Players Tournament  was played on Friday 7th October when Robert Street (Kirkintilloch) defeated  David McGowan (Clydebank and District).
