SCOTS SECOND SEEDS IN EUROPEAN 

MEN'S  TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Scotland, who had the same qualifying aggregate (713) as top seeds France, are the No 2 seeds for the top flight match-play stages of the European men's amateur team championship at Chantilly Golf Club, France.

France totalled 354 to Scotland's 356 in the second round and that determined the top two seedings.

England (728) failed to make the top eight who play for the championship. They finished 10th and go into the second flight.

Scotland will play No 7 qualifiers Spain in the first round of the match-play.

Grant Forrest finished tied third in the individual standings with 68-70 for 138 (two behind leader).
