Ross Cameron best of Brits in German Pro

Ellon's Ross Cameron (Saltire Energy) is the highest placed British player after the first round of the German PGA Pro Golf Tour's Castanea Resort Open at Adendorf, Germany today.
Cameron, with three birdies and one bogey, shot a two-under-par 70 for a share of eighth place behind the Swiss leader, Benjamin Rusch who heads a field of 89 players with a seven-under-par 65.
Philip McLean (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) from Peterhead is in joint 21st place on 72.
Former Scottish amateur champion Chris Robb (Meldrum House) is joint 52nd with a 76.
