Lappin loses share of Jackrabbit lead in Nebraska

Belfast's former Irish boys champion Gareth Lappin, a student at Michigan State University, lost a share of The Jackrabbit Tournament lead with a second-round 74 for a 36-hole tally of 143 which sees him drop to a share of seventh place.
Now leader on his own with a pair of 69s for six-under 138 is Aaron Wise (Oregon).
He is a stroke clear of Adrian Amaus (Texas A and M) (74-65 for 139).
Euan Walker, pictured left, from Troon, a student at Missouri University,  and Scottish amateur champion Robert MacIntyre (McNeese State University) from Troon after joint 28th on 148.
Walker has had a pair of 74s, Sophomore left-hander MacIntyre 75-73.
MacIntyre's McNeese State freshmen colleagues and compatriots, Duncan McNeill from Annan and Lochgelly's Niall McMullen are joint 52nd on 156. 
McNeill has scored 79-77, McMullen 81-75
South Florida (570)  lead the team title chase from Michigan State (576) with McNeese State seventh on 582 anbd Missouri 8th on 594.
