Stewart-Cation's T5 finish in Italy
Scott Stewart-Cation, 27, from Glenrothes earned 1,427 euros for a tied fifth place finish in this week's Alps Tour event in Italy, Open La Pinetina.
Scott, who plays out of the Kingsbarns Pro Academy, had rounds of 66, 68 and 66 for a 10-under-par total of 200 over the par-70 course.
He finished three shots behind the winner, Andrea Perrino Italy) who had scores of 64, 66 and 67 fro 13-under 197 to finish a shot ahead of Frenchman Dominique Nouailhag (68-64-66).
Fifer James White finished T37 on 209 with rounds of 66, 72 and 71. He earned 370 euros.
