Jimmy Gunn is first reserve for place in US Open field

Hi there, exciting news today - Jimmy is first alternate for the US Open,

he missed out by 1 stroke (story of his life !), on 5 under for the two

rounds, made up of 8 birdies and 3 bogeys.  I see on the scoreboard

that Martin Laird was playing but failed to qualify.  Here is the link for

the scoreboard/website, if you click on the mall + sign on the left hand

side the scorecard opens up.  Fingers crossed someone drops out !
