East of Scotland Open Amateur Stroke Play entries close on June 15

If you are a WAGRanked golfer, or in possession of a handicap of 0.4 or better, and have not yet entered the prestigious 43rd East of Scotland Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship presented by golf in DUBAi, I would respectfully remind you that the Closing Date for entries is Monday 15 June.
The Championship is played over 72 holes each year at Lundin Golf Club, Lundin Links, hosts of the 2010 World Junior Open and many Open Final Qualifying competitions.
As Lundin Links is only 20km from St Andrews & Kingsbarns and 40km from Carnoustie and Gleneagles (see www.lundingolfclub.co.uk), you could arrange to play these famous courses during your visit.
Below are the other RandA/USGA World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) Counting Events on the weekends prior to and following “The East”.
The Amateur Championship at Carnoustie and Panmure, Angus from 15 to 20 June
Tennant Cup at Gailes Links, Irvine and Killermont, Glasgow on 20 & 21 June over 72 holes
East of Scotland Championship at Lundin GC, Lundin Links, Fife on 27 and 28 June over 72 holes
Cameron Corbett Vase at Haggs Castle, Glasgow on 4 and 5 July over 72 holes.
Overseas entrants may pay on registration and accommodation for entrants from outside Scotland is available locally and in St Andrews.
If you have any questions, please email me at dmasgol@aol.com
The entry form including the Conditions of Competition and Prize List can be downloaded on www.lundingolfclub.co.uk/east-of-scotland .
The members of Lundin hope they have the chance to welcome you to Lundin Links and Scotland at the end of June.
