Ryan Buckley wins Bishopbriggs pro-am with a 67

Ryan Buckley (Royal Musselburgh) scored his first victory on the Tartan Tour today when he led the way home with a four-under-par 67 in the Bishopbriggs Golf Club pro-am.
Buckley earned £1,251 wih birdies at the first, seventh, eighth, 12th and 15th in halves of 34 and 33. His only bogey came at the ninth.
Joint runners-up, a shot behind on 68, were Graeme Brown (Royal Montrose) and Stephen Gray (Hayston) who won £876 each.
Brown had seven birdies, three of them at the 15th, 16th and 18th, but four bogeys on the debit side while Gray was the steadier with four birdies but only one shot dropped, at the fourth.
Greg Paxton (Ralston) led the Brownlie Plumbing and Heating team of Murray Brownlie (handicap 9), Alistair Johnstone (9) and Gar Hendry (8) to victory in the team event with a net score of 17-under-par 54
