Draw for Ayrshire men's match-play championship

The Ayrshire men's match-play championship will be held at Prestwick St Cuthbert Golf Club from Monday to Thursday, May 4 to 7.
The 16 qualifiers were decided at the Ayrshire stroke-play championship at Loudoun on Sunday with the cut falling at 150, with one from three players getting into the championship on that mark.
Defending champion Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) qualified to defend the title.
Matches begin each day at 5p.m.

Tommy McInally (Loudoun) v Sandy Walker (Ardeer)
Greg Telfer (Prestwick St Cuthbert) v Stuart Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie)
Scott Brown (Turnberry) v Malcolm Pennycott (Whiting Bay, Arran)
Steven Stamper (Turnberry) v Scott McCahill (Turnberry)
Stuart Robin (Prestwick St Cuthbert) v Barrie McDonell (Caprington)
Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) v Michael Smyth (Royal Troon)
John Shanks (Irvine) v Paul Denim (Loudoun)
John Haggarty (Loudoun) v Steven Wallace (Prestwick St Cuthbert)


Any player who becomes unavailable for the event is requested to contact the Area Secretary as soon as possible, to allow arrangements for a reserve to be introduced.
