CHRIS ROBB'S MOROCCO MISTAKES WIPE 

OUT BENEFIT OF SIX BIRDIES

Scottish amateur champion Chris Robb (Meldrum House), pictured below, from Banchory, in his rookie year as a professional, had a mixed bag of six birdies, a double bogey and five bogeys for a one-over-par 73 and a share of 16th place at the end of the first round of the German PGA Pro Golf Tour's Dar Es Salam Open at Rabat, Morocco today (SUN).

The three Paul Lawrie Golf Centre players did not fare so well. 
Philip McLean had a 75 for a share of 48th place; Ross Cameron a 76 for joint 57th spot and Sam Kiloh a 77 to be 75th going into the second round.
Germany David Heinzinger leads with a five-under 67.
