Mercedes-Benz issued a long-drive putter challenge, and wouldn't you know it, Mercedes-Benz brand ambassadors Martin Kaymer and Bernhard Langer decided to take them up on it, film it, and put it on YouTube. Funny how that works.
Regardless of how they came to take the challenge, Kaymer and Langer both passed it with flying colours, each taking three swings with their putter and improving their drives each time.
Kaymer maxed out at 232 yards. Langer could only muster the strength to get it 208 yards. So the reigning U.S. Open champion can drive the ball with his putter better than this year's best Champions Tour player. Aren't you glad you now have that info in your back pocket?

EDITOR'S NOTE: We do not advise you to do this at home - or at your golf club, for that matter. Putters can be very expensive and certainly not made to be drivers so unless you are quite prepared to damage your putter beyond repair, DON'T DO IT!
