BEN CRAGGS TOP SCORES FOR SCOTS IN EUROPEAN CLUB TROPHY
GLENBERVIE FINISH 13th IN BULGARIA

TOURNAMENT TO ONE ROUND
Scottish club champions Glenbervie, represented by Ben Craggs, Richard Johnston and Fraser Moore, finished 13th in a field of 23 teams at the European Club Trophy men's final at Pravets Golf Club, Bulgaria.
The tournament was cut from its scheduled 54 holes to only one round because of heavy rain which flooded the course on the opening day and SNOW made it the third round unplayable.
Glenbervie totalled 151 with a 75 by Craggs and a 76 by Johnston.
Moore had the non-counting score, a 78.
Parco de Roma GC (Italy) and Clube de golfe de Vilamoura (Portugal) headed the best two-from-three-players team totals with 138 apiece - five shots ahead of joint third placed Keerbergen GC (Germany) and Keilir GC (Bulgaria).
The title went to the Italians on the tie-breaking rule which was a comparison of the scores by the third players in the teams. Parco de Roma discarded a 72 to a 75 by Vilamoura.
Southport and Ainsdale finished joint ninth on 147, Tranmore (Ireland) joint 11th on 148 and St Pierre (Wales) finished 20th on 157.
