HOST COUNTRY IN STRONG POSITION GOING INTO LAST DAY v ENGLAND


SCOTS SENIORS COMPLETE WIN OVER WALES AT NORTH BERWICK
 
Scotland completed a 5 1/2-3 1/2 win this morning over Wales in the Senior Men's Home Internationals at North Berwick.
Play restarted at 7am this morning following the suspension of play due to fog on Wednesday when several singles ties still had a few holes to play.
Scotland go into their last-day match against England as the only team with two wins out of two.
Ireland and England have won win apiece.
Wales are pointless.



WALES 3 1/2, SCOTLAND 5 1/2
Foursomes (2-1)
D Evans and R Broad bt I Brotherston and D Gardner 5 and 4.
N Evans and A Williams lost to G Bell and J Fraser 1 hole.
B Griffiths and J Thomas bt B Brooks and R Stewart 2 and 1.
Singles (1 1/2-4 1/2)
D Evans halved with Brotherston
Broad lost to M Reid 5 and 4.
Williams lost to Gardner 2 holes
Jeffrey bt Fraser 1 hole
N Evans lost to Brooks 2 and 1.
Griffiths lost to Bell 4 and 3.
