PAUL DOHERTY SHARES DUBAI OPEN 
LEAD WITH A FIVE-UNDER-PAR 67
Former
 Scottish boys' match-play champion Paul Doherty is in a three-way tie 
for the lead on five-under-par 67 at the end of the first round of the 
MENA Tour's Shaikh Maktoum Dubai Open at Al Badia Golf Club.
Sharing the pole position are England's Jake Shepherd and Spaniard Patrick Simard.
They are a shot ahead of Bernhard Neumann (Germany) and Gary Munro (England).
Next best Scot after Doherty is Balmore's Fraser McKenna in a share of 14th place on 71.
Portlethen rookie Sam Kiloh (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) is joint 34th with a 75.
