EDEN TOURNAMENT ENDS AT ST ANDREWS

COLCHESTER MAN WINS EDEN TROPHY

AFTER ALL-ENGLAND FINAL

Benjamin David from Colchester won the all-England final to the Eden Tournament this afternoon. 
He beat Adam Stone (Lancaster) by one hole in a close match, as the scoreline suggests, to be awarded the Eden Trophy.
The handicap competition for the Eden Tankard was won by Irishman Jim Harty. He beat Kenny Donaghy from Pukrup Hall Hotel, Tewkesbury in Gloucester by 3 and 1.

EDEN TROPHY (scratch)
Semi-finals - Benjamin David (Colchester) bt Richard Storey (Forest Pines) 2 and 1; Adam Stone (Lancaster) bt George Whitbread (Colchester) 2 and 1.
Final - David bt Stone 1 hole

EDEN SALVER (handicap)
Semi-finals - Kenny Donaghy (Puckrup Hall Hotel) bt Richard Rodgers (Ludlow) 1 hole; Jim Harty (Ireland) bt Russell McNamara (Tewkesbury Park) 1 hole. 
Final - Harty bt Donaghy 3 and 1.
