FORMER SCOTTISH YOUTHS CHAMPION JOINT LEADER AT BURHI

TRAHAN AND KELLETT LEAD SCOTS'

BRIGADE ON PGA EUROPRO TOUR

Aberdeen-born Callum Trahan (Gleneagles) and Ross Kellett (Kingsfield) lead the big contingent of Scots at the end of the first day in this week's PGA EuroPro Tour event, the Kerry London Championship over 54 holes at Burhill Golf Club's south course in Surrey.
Both men returned one-under-par 70s to be joint 15th, only three shots behind the joint leaders, Ireland's Tim Rice from Limerick, winner of the 1998 Scottish youths open amateur title and Stowamarket's Sam Forgan.
Trahan birdied the 10th, 14th and 15th while Kellett had birdies at the second, fifth, 13th and 17th.Lloyd Saltman (Archerfield Links) matched the par of 71 to be joint 23rd in the field of 168.
Dunbar tour pro Neil Fenwick, Malcolm Isaacs (Newmachar), Elliot Saltman (Archerfield Links)  are on the 72 mark, sharing 32nd place.
Paul Lawrie's older son Craig came home in 35 with the help of birdies at the 15th and 18th to salvage a 76, the same score as the third Saltman sibling, Zach the youngest.
