DAVID LAW LETS VICTORY CHANCE SLIP AWAY IN GERMANY

David Law was on course to win this week's German PGA Tour event, the Glashofen-Neusass Open after birdieing the first, second and sixth holes.
But the Aberdonian then let victory slip out of his grasp by dropping six shots over his last 12 holes. His last nine holes cost him 41 shots, including a double bogey 6 at the 16th.
Law finished seventh with rounds of 69, 70 and 75 for two-under-par 214, only three shots behind the winner of the 5,000 Euros first prize, Austrian Leonhard Astl with scores of 69, 72 and 70 for five-under 211.
Law earned 1,210 Euros.
Philip McLean, also attached to the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre stable, earned 307 Euros for finishing on nine-over 225 with scores of 72, 76 and 77.
