LOCKHART HAS BEST INDIVIDUAL SCORE AT FORFAR

Ladybank assistant pro Alan Lockhart had the leading scratch score of the day - a three-under-par 66 - in the Midland Golfers' Alliance Powakaddy (A Duncan) team competition at Forfar Golf Club.

Leading handicap scores was returned by Dennis Redford, who plays off eight at Murrayshall. He had a net 67.

Winners of the team prize were Harry Grant (Muckhart) (6), Ronnie Sinclair (Muckhart) (2) and Mike Watkins (Panmure) (12) with a net score of 59.
