IT'S ANOTHER GRAY DAY FOR HAYSTON PRO AS HE WINS £2,400

Hayston's Stephen Gray, having collected £4,000 as leading pro in last week's Northern Open, increased his lead at the top of the Tartan Tour money table by winning the Kerr Investments Order of Merit two-day programe at Dumfries and Gallow GC with a 10-under-par total of 130.
Gray, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, spreadeagled the field with an opeing round of 62 and added a 68 to collect the £2,400 first prize by two shots from Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) who earned £1,870 for scores of 68 and 64.
Joint third on 133 were James McKinnon (Irvine) (69-64) and Jason McCreaadie (Buchanan Castle) (67-66). They each earned £1,245.
Aberdeen-based Greg McBain also shot a 62 in the second round to jump up to a share of joint fifth place and a payslip for £548.
