It all worked out in the end for David Toms. Leader by four shots at the halfway stage of the US PGA Tour's Crowne Plaza Invitational at the Colonial Country Club, Texas, Toms lost his advantage over the third round.
But he fought his way back to the top of the heap with a final round of 67 which enabled him to peg back the new leader, South Korea Charlie who finished with a 69 for 266, one shot more than Toms' total.
Martin Laird is back in among the top-10 finishes. He closed with a 70 for 275 and a share of 10th place.
