Report and scores from Fairhaven Trophies junior tournament
The second round, played in glorious sunshine at Fairhaven Golf Club, Lancashire, again saw some high calibre golf, with the low score of the day coming from England boy international Adam Carson of Long Ashton GC.
He finished with an eagle for a round of seven-under-par 67. This brilliant score Adam heading the leader board on 11-under-par 137 - great scoring!
Overnight leader Daniel Byrne (Dartford GC) followed his 67 with a level par round of 74 to take second place going into the final day.
Danny Keddie (Belton Park GC) is lying third on six-under-par following two rounds of 71.
Defending champion Tom Boys (Royal Liverpool GC) moved up the field, as did Ben Stow (Rushmore GC) following rounds of 70.
The defending girls' champion Alexandra Peters (Notts Ladies GC) is the leading girl after a 71 and 75 for four-under-par 146.
She is closely followed by another England girl international Heidi Baek (Felixstowe Ferry GC)
who is one shot behind on a total of 147 following rounds of 73 and 74.
The cut for the leading 40 scores and ties was as low as 150 (+2)
The CSS was 73 for boys and 75 for girls
