Hutcheon comes from
behind to win over
home course

Monifieth maestro Ian Hutcheon showed his class at the age of 66 with a brilliant second round of one-under-par 70 over his home links to win the East of Scotland Seniors Open today.
Starting the day four shots off the pace, Hutcheon (pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency, all rights reserved) handled the testing, windy conditions much better than anyone else in the field.
He birdied the fourth, eighth, 11th and 17th and dropped shots at the second, fifth and 14th
"I played not bad," said the modest Hutcheon who still has +2 of a handicap.
Runner-up Gordon MacDonald finished four shots behind Ian with scores of 73 and 76 for 149.
"That was quite a round by Ian, believe me. The wind was not quite so bad as it was on Thursday but it was still difficult to get a decent score,"said Gordon, the captain of the Scottish Senior Golfing Society.
