IDAHO SPONSORSHIP FOR JIMMY GUNN
Jimmy Gunn from Dornoch is to be sponsored by the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel and the Circling Raven Golf Club in Idaho on the Gateway Tour in America.
"Jimmy is a product of Dornoch and that says a great deal," said Dave LaSarte-Meeks, chief executive of the hotel. "We know he has tremendous talent and potential. We also know that he has the quality of character that extends from a good family and from his roots in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands."
"I can't say just how important this sponsorship is to me," said Gunn. "Just about all my life I've wanted to play professional golf. Not just play, but win. Circling Raven and the Resort have shown great confidence and generosity."
