Forres player shakes off knee injury with a 68
Fotheringham leading Scot in
Lytham Trophy Day One
The knee injury which forced Bryan Fotheringham to retire from last weekend's Edward Trophy at Glasgow Gailes obviously cleared itself over the past week.
The Forres international shot a first-round 68 today to be in joint fifth place after the first round of the Lytham Trophy. He is, not surprisingly, the lead Scot in the field of 144 as they move into Saturday's second round.
Second-best Scot is Paul O'Hara from Colville Park, Motherwell with a 69.
