MACAULAY LOSES BUT BOOTH WINS ON
FINAL DAY OF BONALLACK TROPHY
Callum Macaulay and Wallace Booth played in the Nos 1 and 2 singles for Europe on the third and final day of the Michael Bonallacky Trophy match at Valderrama, Spain.
Macaulay lost by one hole to the Japanese player Yuki Ito but Booth was a 4 and 2 winner over Quincy Quek (Singapore).
These results moved the score along to 13 1/2pt for Europe and 6 1/2pt for Asia-Pacific with 10 singles ties to finish.
Day 1 went 6-4 in Europe's favour and Day 2 saw Europe increase their lead by taking the day's four-ball and foursomes programme 7 1/2- 2 1/2, which gave Europe almost an overall winning lead of 13 1/2-6 1/2 before the final day singles started.
