Lee Vannet strikes again at Burntisland

The Midland Golfers Alliance's D Smith MBE & E. Sherry Pro Am at Burntisland Golf House Club suffered awful conditions of gale-force winds with hail storms thrown in.
Continuing his recent dominance was Carnoustie Links professional Lee Vannet with a superb, one-under-par 69 to win the scratch prize by three strokes.
Best team of the day was led by local assistant professional Eric Walker with Joe Scally, Harry Haldane and Gil Muir. They had a score of 131.
