LEWIS KIRTON DOWN THE FIELD IN
SOUTH CAROLINA

Scotland youth international Lewis Kirton from Oldmeldrum was lying in joint 49th in a field of 81 players after the second round of the 54-hole General Hackler Invitational men's college golf tournament at TPC of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Newmachar Golf Club member Lewis, a student at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, scored 79 and 78 for 157 - 16 shots behind the four-stroke leader, Dan Obremski (Coastal Carolina) with 70 and 71 for 141.
