PLAYING AND BEATING THE BEST IN THE
WORLD IS TIGER'S MOTIVATION

Tiger Woods has confirmed that it is not money but pride in his performance that is his greatest source of motivation.
Speaking after his magnificent victory in the Accenture world match-play championship in the Arizona Desert, Woods said:
"I just love playing the best players in the world.
"That's the fun part because we don't get to do it that often. For some reason I've had success in different places. I can't say it's the venues. Maybe I just enjoyed playing the fields, just like I enjoy playing major championships."
Already arguably the greatest player in history, Woods disagrees with the suggestion that his peers are under-achieving and that they are incapable of raising their game to present some kind of challenge to him.
"I think they would find that suggest more offensive to them because it's not like they're not practising at home or doing their very best every time they play," said the 32-year-old American.
"We're all trying to improve. Not just me. We're all working extremely hard to get better."
