DUNBAR'S IAN JEAVONS WINS JOHN GLEN
TROPHY ON COUNTBACK AT GULLANE

Some 90 lucky members enjoyed a great day at Gullane in perfect weather conditions.
A big thank you to Gullane Golf Club for looking after us so well and we'll look forward to going back next season.
Congratulations are due to Dunbar's Ian Jeavons, the winner of today's John Glen Trophy. His net score of 64 off six just pipped Gullane's Gordon Bell (64 off three) on the better back nine by only 1/2 a shot.
On the scratch side of things it was very tight, with a four-way tie on 67, featuring Norrie Forysth, Andy Oldcorn, Paul Wardell and Gordon Bell. Gordon was in the handicap prizes and therefore didn't get a scratch prize.
I've kept this e-mail brief today. You'll be glad to hear, as this is my last event as secretary and I have handed the role over to your new secretary, Keith Liddle. Any and all correspondence should now be sent to him at this address.
