LOW SCORING IN MONDAY LEAGUE

The Monday Fairways Target Golf League served some low scoring with the farthest target in use but it didn’t detract from the excitement.
After winning by a slim margin last week the Loch Ness Juniors saw the other side of the coin as Trilight found the GolfCross net with one ball. The10 shots that this gave them saw off the Juniors by just one shot!
Fairhurst, after their three-figure score last week, came down to earth with a bump and could manage only a fifth of their previous score. The Underdogs took full advantage and secured their second consecutive win.
Northern Ironmongery got back to winning ways, courtesy of the bye.
BM Trucks bounced back from their opening week defeat by setting the high score of the night, taking the points from the Specialists who now find themselves as the only team yet to put some points on the board.
Trilight are at the head of affairs with the Underdogs with the Underdogs as they are both unbeaten so far.
RESULTS
The Underdogs 47, Fairhurst Fore 21.
Trilight 38, Loch Ness Juniors 37.
Specialists 36, BM Trucks 60.
Northern Ironmongery (Bye) 45.

TUESDAY FORM BOOK OUT THE WINDOW

The Tuesday league table has look of symmetry about it after this week's second round of games. What it tells us is that you can throw the form book out of the window.
Fairways, who were at the top of the table for most of last season, find themselves still on the look-out for their first points of this campaign and are only off bottom courtesy of scoring more shots than the Coastguards.
Once again the Coastguards will be feeling a bit disappointed as Raigmore only beat them by the slim margin of four shots. Sometime soon it will all click into place for the Coastguards and they will upset a couple of the bigger teams.
Back to the top of the table and it is the Old Swingers, the conquerors of Fairways, who sit proudly at the head of affairs with their second consecutive victory and the highest score of the night.
Closely following them and only in second spot on the shots scored record are Raigmore Motel who have the knack of not scoring very highly but always doing enough to win.
In their game with the Coastguards they were the two lowest scoring teams of the week.
The final game was another high-scoring encounter. The Luckless Leadbetters got some points on the board at the expense of the Grumps with both teams now tied on two points.
RESULTS
Grumps 61, Luckless Leadbetter’s 81.
Coastguards 31, Raigmore Motel 35.
Fairways 67, Old Swingers 84.
