PAUL BROOKES WINS MIDLAND ALLIANCE AT DRUMOIG

Leading scratch score in the first Midland Golfers' Alliance meeting of the New Year - held at Drumoig, Fife - was won by Pitreavie professional Paul Brookes with a score of four-under-par 68.
Paul had six birdies and an eagle on his card in winning by five strokes from Lee Vannett of Carnoustie Links.
Winner of the handicap was Charlie Wallace (Caird Park) with a net score of 68 off 11.
