WIND-TAMER LEE VANNET WINS MIDLANDS
ALLIANCE WITH 73 OVER TORRANCE COURSE

Carnoustie Links professional Lee Vannet played very well in a high wind over the Torrance Course at Fairmont St Andrews (formerly St Andrews Bay) today to win the Midlands Alliance, sponsored by Grants Promotions.
Lee returned a one-over-par 73, a shot better than amateur Gary Tough, the course manager at Letham Grange.
