Open champion Padraig Harrington scored his first win since his Carnoustie triumph when he had three shots to spare in the Hassan II Trophy over the Royal Dar Es Salam course in Morocco today.
After earlier rounds of 67, 67 and 72 over the par-73 lay-out, the Irishman, pictured above, started the final round with a six-stroke lead from Ulsterman Darren Clarke.
Harrington signed off with a 74 for 12-under-par 280, allowing Clarke to reduce the winning margin with a 71 for 283.
England's Simon Dyson was third on seven-under-par 285.
Harrington won $150,000, Clarke $100,000 and Dyson $75,000.
France's Gwladys Nocera won the women's professional event with rounds of 70, 68 and 71 for 10-under-par 209. She earned $28,000.
