EDMOND IN NORTH-EAST TEAM AS THEY GO
FOR PLACE IN SGU FINALS AT POWFOOT
Royal Aberdeen's Mark Halliday is unavailable for the North-east District's Scottish area golf team championship tie against Fife at Cruden Bay on Sunday. His place is taken by Jaffray Cup match-play winner Barrie Edmond (Bon Accord).
This is the only change in the six-man team who won a weather-hit tie 2-1 away to Clackmannanshire on August 5.
If North-east beat Fife they will be one of the four qualifiers for the semi-finals at Powfoot on October 6.
